Anna Hazare’s fast: Live update of Day-2: PM justifies action


Speaking the same language of Kapil Sibal and P Chidambaram, the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh justifed action against Anna Hazare and his aides.

Manmohan described Anna's fast as misleading. Taking heavily on Anna, Manmohan said that Anna wants to force Jan Lokpal Bill. He further siad, who will make a Law Anna or Parliament?

Anna Hazare's anti-corruption movement has received massive support nationwide as Team Anna turned Tihar into JP Park.

Huge number of Anna supporters have been sitting on anshan outside Tihar Jail.

Defiant veteran Gandhian Anna Hazare spent night in Tihar Jail as his anti-corruption fast entered second day on Wednesday.

Despite of release order, Anna adamant on his demand to hold fast at JP Narayan Park. On Tuesday evening, Anna and his supporters pushed government on backfoot, forcing Delhi Police to withdraw the charges against veteran social activist.


Anna Hazare along with Arvind Kejriwal and others are holding fast inside the Tihar Jail while Kiran Bedi and Manish Sisodia, who were freed late night, are leading the protest outside the Tihar Jail.


A large number of Anna supporters are gathered outside the Tihar Jail and it is expected that Anna’s movement will get more boost on Wednesday.


Earlier, Bedi and spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar  were not allowed to meet Anna inside the jail.
