Sardars Only On Stage

These are probably three of the more famous dastaar (turban) wearing Punjabi singers on the scene, Inderjeet Nikku, Ravinder Grewal and Diljit Dosanjh.

Ravinder Grewal – Bedarde

Ravinder Grewal Bedarde Music Video

Ravinder Grewal is about to release the music video of his much popular song Bedarde from his latest album Desi Junction. The video has been directed by Atharv Baluja and the video is probably going to make another mark for him. The promo of the song was released yesterday on YouTube and it looks promising. The video is quite high on Graphics as well. Atharv Baluja is taking a bold initiative by using a lot of CG in his music videos. This hasnt been done to this extent in Punjabi Music videos. Lets see how it unfolds for his future projects. Howevre, the CG quality seems a lot better in this video which is good because the use of CG is only useful if its believable…
A little about the song itself. Bedarde is a track based on Guitar riffs and uses an awesome composition. In fact this is one of the finest tracks from Ravinder Grewal. A very powerful sad song. We wish all the sad tracks were just like that.. heavy on riffs and sadistic in mood. Lyrics are equally good.
