Prah Vihear Province: Prah Vihear authorities decided to close the gate of Prah Vihear temple on Sunday shortly after more than 140 of Thai people demonstrated by shouting loudly in front of the temple about 500 meters. The closing avoids any confrontation and keep security both for sides. “We do not know when it opens,” an interior official said. The close affects Khmer people living there because there are not tourists any more. Khmer border officer said that the demonstrators are against the listing of Prah Vihear temple as the world treasure.
