Master of Arts in Linguistics in Cambodia

The Master of Arts in Linguistics degree at the Royal University of Phnom Penh is a two-year degree which trains students in linguistics, the science and theory of language, at a post-graduate level. Students receive comprehensive training in different fields of linguistics, including phonetics, phonology, syntax, semantics, dialectology and sociolinguistics. Graduates of the Master of Arts in Linguistics are well-equipped to undertake individual academic research in the field of linguistics. Their deep understanding of human communication also enables them for many positions in the public sector, within government ministries, in the private sector, including within the fields of media, advertising and public relations, and within the NGO sector.
