The Manhattan Fish Market

I'm in Jusco Tebrau last week with my colleagues and as usual, we ended up brain-storming of what to eat for our dinner. We walk around the ground floor and came to the Manhattan Fish Market, so I asked them if interested. They have never tried it before, so set! Time for some torch burning seafood craze ...

The Manhattan Fish Market is basically everywhere. As long as there is a shopping mall with good flow of human traffic, then there is a very big chance it will be there also. I first tried it last 3 years ago in Sunway Pyramid and love it since then.

The franchise setting of the entrance for The Manhattan Fish Market. It's the same everywhere, same goes to the food quality, so don't worry.

The comfortable dining ambience and the waitress are very attentive. This Jusco Tebra branch seems a little run down, probably not much bussiness comparing to KL branch, but still acceptable.

There is only 3 of us, so we opted for the Seafood Platter for Two for sharing. The famous flame torch to burn the prawn with cheese till perfection. It's always an enjoyable moment when they do it at your table. It's RM42.90 each plate.

Mind you, the Seafood Platter for Two portion is quite big and it's not for two person only, unless you are really hungry. We finished up the plate just nice with 2 guys and 1 girl. You'll get fish, calamari rings, prawns, oysters, fries and garlic rice, all topped with cheese. The burnt cheese is especially tasty.

The usual 3 types of sauce that come with the food. Nothing special or shout about. Most of the time, you would just looking for the cheese sauce on the garlic rice.

The cheapest option of Iced Lemon Tea. Our aim is always food, so drink is secondary. It's priced at RM3.90.

Every restaurant will have something funny on the wall, you just have to keep looking. In this shop, I spotted this sign. It reads "Notice to Patrons: Any complaint directed to the Cook in regards to the quality of your meals, may in future proves to be harmful to your welfare." Nice one, any complain so far?

It's a fun restaurant and definitely something different for those that have never try it before, especially the torch part. A little pricey for daily meal but I'm still going back once in a while. So far, it has never fail to amaze my companion for the food quality.
