Q: PSK Centre-Srinivas: First, show me your Original Date of Birth Certificate?

A: I have Original Driving Licence, I have Original PAN Card, I have Original Voters ID Card, I have Original LIC Bond, I have original SSLC Certificate and all DOB are same. Which document you want?

Q: PSK Centre-Srinivas: You show me video photo of your born then only we can forward your documents for passport otherwise your documents will be rejected on the condition that you don’t have valid documents of DOB assumed that you have not born.

Q: PSK Centre-Srinivas: Second, show me bank account statements of last one year.

A: I have Saving Account in State Bank of India and I have bring original pass book of last two years and Xerox copy of that pass book.

Q: PSK Centre-Srinivas: You don’t have bank’s stamp on the Xerox copy of the pass book. Hence, it is assumed that you don’t have any bank account. Pass book of two years, you are producing is bogus and hence we are rejecting your documents for passport.

Q: PSK Centre-Srinivas: You show me address proof of your residence?

A: I have BSNL Telephone, Airtel Connection, Saving Bank Account, Rent Agreement.Which proof you want. All documents I have bring original.

Q: PSK Centre-Srinivas: You show me your Original BSNL Bill. Bring the telephone instruments and ring here then only we can assume that your land-line connection is genuine. Otherwise we will assume that original BSNL Telephone bill producing is bogus and we can not proceed your documents for passport.

This happen because I have refuse to give bribe of Rs. 3,000/- as asked by PSK-Srinivas. This is what there is corruption in Congress-UPA Govt. Now we don’t know how to complete any Govt work as every where corruption like above and it will be there till Congress-UPA Govt. is there. 1 Crore=1 Khoka, 500 Crore = 1 Koda, 1000 Cr. = 1 Radia, 10000 Cr. = 1 Kalmadi, 100000 Cr. = 1 Raja, 100 Raja = 1 Pawar, 10000 Pawar = Manmohan & Sonia. This virus of corruption spread every department because of the above incidence.

I have lost my very good job opportunity as I could not apply for Passport and I don’t know how to do this as everywhere there is corruption “BHARAST ACHAR” in every department i.e. Municipal, Electricity, Telephone, Post Office, Court, Schools, Passport, Ration Card, Election Card, Driving License, Buses, Railways, Airways, VAT and Sales Tax, Income Tax, Excise, Customs, Professional Tax, Wealth Tax, LPG, Police, Traffic Police, Banks, Ministers, Army, ISI Mark, Bus Conductors, All Government and PSU Offices till this Govt. is there. May God do SARVANASH of this Govt. Now this LOOT will further start from Divestment. As Govt will now loot from Public in BHEL, SAIL, MMTC, SCOOTERS INDIA. Earlier this Govt. has LOOT in NHPC, SJVN, NTPC, NMDC, SCI. Now Manmohan, Sonia, Sharad, Kapil, Paranab, Chidambaram, Kalmadi, Jayapal Reddy, Shiela Dixit, Pranab all BHARAST and FOOLISH leaders will rise the petrol, diesel, kerosene up to 100/- PL. LPG to 1000/- and VAT, ED to 20% and Income Tax to 40% to kill all Aam Aadmi.

Bhagwan kare is Govt Ka Sarvanash Ho. Till this Government is there, Milk will be 50/-, Petrol, Diesel, Kerosene will be 100/-, LPG Cyllinder will be 1,000/-, Pulses will be 150/-, Vegetables will be 100/-, Toll Tax – 2,000/-. This is our Open Challenge.

In BJP Govt. Crude has touched high at $130. Even then Fuel was not high in India. Now, Crude is at $85 even then Fuel rates are increasing and all time high in India. Because of thesecorrupted, bharast, non-sense Govt. and ministers. Jaypal Reddy is getting 15 Rs. Per Ltr / Per Kg on fuel. That is why Jaypal Reddy is handicapped. Bhagwan Kare he and his full family should be handicap as he is drinking blood by fuel corruption. Similarly, Shard Pawar has fire lakhs of Mt. food grains as it was not eatables in FCI in MP. Why he has not given at lowest price because he want to raise the price more and more. That is why his face is broken. Bhagwan kare his full families face and mouth should break as he is drinking blood by food corruption.

I have lost my best Job because of the Passport and this has not done because I have not given bribe. Even after the submission of documents at RPO, police wala will take bribe to precede the verification otherwise they will harass if we will not give bribe.

Sonia is abroad for surgery. Can AAM Aadmi go for surgery? No. Because Sonia and Manmohan ka paisa LOOT ka paisa is coming from 101% pure corruption, bribe and blood of AAM Aadmi. We should not believe even .00001% on khaki wardi, white wardi, leader, politician till this Government is there. Bhagwan kare is Government ka, Khaki wardi ka, white wardi ka Sarvanash Ho and they all should die like dog and they should be handicap and whole life there child should die from hungry. Now Government has done Urea Price D-regulate and planning to D-regulate price of Diesel, Petrol, Kerosen, LPG so that anyone can raise the price as per there will. Every farmer, Aam Aadmi will cry, cry and finally will do suicide. Government will be very happy to see this situation. Now Railways Freight, Internet charges will increase and aam aadmi will cry, cry. Very nice. Only increase, increase,

needed to go abroad for her surgery?

And even Manmohan Singh though a pensioner of the World bank

and able to get free medical treatment in the US, got his heart surgery done in Delhi.......

has she actually gone to the US or some other country?

It is strongly suspected that the need for her to go abroad at

this time is linked to the fact that Dr. Subramaniam Swamy's petition

for the permission to prosecute Madam Gandhi (an MP) for corruption charges,

pending with the Prime Minister's Office, has to be decided before the end of August his year.

Dr. Swamy has given incontrovertible proof of Sonia Gandhi's accounts in foreign banks,

and these cannot be overlooked or ignored.

Madam Gandhi is actually suffering from an acute enlargement of her wealth gland.

The real surgery for which Madam Gandhi has gone abroad has to do with the operation of her illegal bank accounts, as time is running out for her and her cronies.

That is why even Kalanidhi Maran has disappeared from Chennai and is

rumoured to have escaped to Zurich.

Indira Gandhi, daughter of Jawaharlal Nehru, She was named Indira Priyadarshini Nehru. She fell in love and decided to marry Feroze Khan, a family friend. Feroze Khan’s father, Nawab Khan, was a Muslim, and mother was a Persian Muslim. Lokpal Act not sufficient to end corruption: Rahul

New Delhi: Finally Congress leader Rahul Gandhi broke his silence today and asserted that Lokpal Act alone will not help eradicate corruption and appeared to disapprove Anna Hazare’s fast, saying “individual dictates” must not weaken democratic process as dangerous precedent could be set.

Agreeing that “corruption is pervasive” which operates at “every level”, Gandhi said in the Lok Sabha that a set of effective laws along with creation of an statutory institution of Lokpal like the Election Commission would be required to fight the malaise.

“We cannot wish away corruption by the mere desire to see it removed from our lives. This requires a comprehensive framework of action and a concerted political programme supported by all levels of the State from the highest to the lowest. Most importantly, it requires firm political will,” he said during Zero Hour, amid noisy protests from NDA members.

Referring to the anti-corruption campaign of Anna Hazare, Gandhi said it has “helped the people to articulate” disillusionment and “I thank him for that”.

At the same time, the Congress leader said, “individual dictates, no matter how well-intentioned, must not weaken the democratic process….A tactical incursion, divorced from the machinery of an elected government that seeks to undo the checks and balances created to protect the supremacy of Parliament sets a dangerous precedent for a democracy.”

“Today, the proposed law is against corruption. Tomorrow, the target may be something less universally heralded. It may attack the plurality of our society and democracy,” Gandhi warned in the House as his sister Priyanka Gandhi watched from the visitors’ gallery.

See how Lokpal Bill can curb the politicians, Circulate it to create awareness

Existing System Proposed by civil society 

No politician or senior officer ever goes to jail despite huge evidence because Anti Corruption Branch (ACB) and CBI directly come under the government. Before starting investigation or prosecution in any case, they have to take permission from the same bosses, against whom the case has to be investigated. 

Lokpal at centre and Lokayukta at state level will be independent bodies. ACB and CBI will be merged into these bodies. They will have power to initiate investigations and prosecution against any officer or politician without needing anyone’s permission. Investigation should be completed within 1 year and trial to get over in next 1 year. Within two years, the corrupt should go to jail.

No corrupt officer is dismissed from the job because Central Vigilance Commission, which is supposed to dismiss corrupt officers, is only an advisory body. Whenever it advises government to dismiss any senior corrupt officer, its advice is never implemented. 

Lokpal and Lokayukta will have complete powers to order dismissal of a corrupt officer. CVC and all departmental vigilance will be merged into Lokpal and state vigilance will be merged into Lokayukta.

No action is taken against corrupt judges because permission is required from the Chief Justice of India to even register an FIR against corrupt judges. 

Lokpal & Lokayukta shall have powers to investigate and prosecute any judge without needing anyone’s permission.

Nowhere to go - People expose corruption but no action is taken on their complaints. 

Lokpal & Lokayukta will have to enquire into and hear every complaint.

There is so much corruption within CBI and vigilance departments. Their functioning is so secret that it encourages corruption within these agencies. 

All investigations in Lokpal & Lokayukta shall be transparent. After completion of investigation, all case records shall be open to public. Complaint against any staff of Lokpal & Lokayukta shall be enquired and punishment announced within two months.

Weak and corrupt people are appointed as heads of anti-corruption agencies. 

Politicians will have absolutely no say in selections of Chairperson and members of Lokpal & Lokayukta. Selections will take place through a transparent and public participatory process.

Citizens face harassment in government offices. Sometimes they are forced to pay bribes. One can only complaint to senior officers. No action is taken on complaints because senior officers also get their cut. 

Lokpal & Lokayukta will get public grievances resolved in time bound manner, impose a penalty of Rs 250 per day of delay to be deducted from the salary of guilty officer and award that amount as compensation to the aggrieved citizen.

Nothing in law to recover ill gotten wealth. A corrupt person can come out of jail and enjoy that money. 

Loss caused to the government due to corruption will be recovered from all accused.

Small punishment for corruption- Punishment for corruption is minimum 6 months and maximum 7 years. 

Enhanced punishment - The punishment would be minimum 5 years and maximum of life imprisonment.

1.Who is Anna Hazare? An ex-army man(Unmarried). Fought 1965 Indo-Pak War. 

2.What's so special about him? He built a village Ralegaon Siddhi in Ahamad Nagar district, Maharashtra 

3.This village is a self-sustained model village. Energy is produced in the village itself from solar power, biofuel and wind mills. In 1975, it used to be a poverty clad village. Now it is one of the richest village in India. It has become a model for self-sustained, eco-friendly & harmonic village. 

4.This guy, Anna Hazare was awarded Padma Bhushan and is a known figure for his social activities. 

5.He is supporting a cause, the amendment of a law to curb corruption in India. 

6. How that can be possible? He is advocating for a Bill, The Lok Pal Bill (The Citizen Ombudsman Bill), that will form an autonomous authority who will make politicians (ministers), bureaucrats (IAS/IPS) accountable for their deeds. 

7. It's an entirely new thing right..? In 1972, the bill was proposed by then Law minister Mr. Shanti Bhushan. Since then it has been neglected by the politicians and some are trying to change the bill to suit their theft (corruption). 

8. Oh.. He is going on a hunger strike for that whole thing of passing a Bill ! How can that be possible in such a short span of time? The first thing he is asking for is: the govt should come forward and announce that the bill is going to be passed. Next, they make a joint committee to DRAFT the LOK PAL BILL. 50% government participation and 50% public participation. Bcoz u can't trust the govt entirely for making such a bill which does not suit them. 

9.What will happen when this bill is passed? A LokPal will be appointed at the centre. He will have an autonomous charge, say like the Election Commission of India. In each and every state, Lokayukta will be appointed.

The job is to bring all alleged party to trial in case of corruptions within 1 year. Within 2 years, the guilty will be punished.

Whose 'foreign hand' behind Hazare? asks Opposition

 Opposition parties here Thursday demanded that the government clarify what were the 'foreign forces' it alleged to be behind Anna Hazare's movement against corruption.

'Congress statement in not only bad but mad,' Bharatiya Janata Party leader M. Venkaiah Naidu told reporters outside parliament.

In his statement on Hazare's arrest, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Wednesday said: 'There are many forces that would not like to see India realize its true place in the comity of nations. We must not play into their hand.'

'The prime minister should tell what he meant by it,' Naidu added.

On the same lines, Communist Party of India member D. Raja said: 'What are the forces which are trying to hinder our growth, he (prime minister) should clarify.'

Congress spokesperson Rashid Alvi also had Wednesday raised doubts about 'foreign hands' being behind Hazare's demand for a stronger Lokpal Bill.

'We will have to find out the truth, why the US is supporting this movement,' Alvi had said.

Hazare planned to begin his fast for the Jan Lokpal bill here Tuesday. However, Delhi Police imposed certain conditions before allowing the protest. Hazare refused to sign the undertaking, following which the police detained him and his other team members Tuesday.

He was arrested and subsequently released but refused to leave the jail. But now he will begin his 15-day-long fast at Ramlila ground here as his conditions have been met.

Veteran actor Shammi Kapoor no more

Veteran actor Shammi Kapoor, who ruled the late 1950s and 1960s with his unique style and versatile range, passed away today at the Breach Candy Hospital here, family sources said.

He was 79. He is survived by his wife Neela Devi, son Aditya Raj and daughter Kanchan Desai.

According to the sources, he was on dialysis for the last few years and was undergoing the procedure at least thrice a week. He was yesterday admitted to the ICU of the hospital.

The actor, who made his debut in Bollywood in 1953, when the film 'Jeevan Jyoti' was released, carved out a niche for himself with the superhit Junglee in 1961.

His new image took ground and his subsequent films were all in this genre later.

Kapoor, hailed as 'Elvis Presley of India', joined the silver screen at a time when his elder brother Raj Kapoor, Dev Anand and Dilip Kumar were the reigning trio.

Kapoor was suffering from chronic renal failure, family sources said.

The funeral will take place tomorrow morning, they said.

Born Shamsher Raj Kapoor on October 21, 1931, Kapoor was the second son of veteran theatre and film actor Prithviraj Kapoor.

Despite his family background, Shammi's entry into Bollywood was initially not successful even though he worked with major heroines like Madhubala in 'Rail ka Dibba', Suraiya in 'Shama Parwana' and Nalini Jaywant in 'Hum Sab Chor Hai'.

His initial movies flopped at the Box Office. He reinvented himself with 'Tumsa Nahi Dekha' cutting his hair in the famous duck-tail style of the 50s and never looked back since then.

With the success of Junglee in 1961, an entire decade reeled under its colourful impact.

Shammi heralded the swinging 60s and a large part of his appeal was primarily due to the immensely catchy and upbeat numbers like 'Suku Suku', 'O Haseena Zulfo Wali', 'Aaj Kal Tere Mere Pyar Ke Charche', 'Aaja Aaja Main Hoon Pyar Tera' where he was at his boisterous best.

Even though success came with light weight tales like 'Kashmir Ki Kali', 'Rajkumar', 'Jaanwar' and 'An Evening in Paris', his performances in flicks like 'Junglee', 'Badtameez', 'Bluff Master', 'Pagla Kahin Ka', 'Teesri Manzil', 'Brahmachari' silenced his critics.

'Andaz', which released in 1971, was his last movie as a leading man but his character roles in 'Vidhata', 'Hero' and 'Prem Rog' were well received.

LOW TURNOUT OF URBAN VOTERS IS SHAMEFUL: CEC

"If you don't vote you have no business to crib on formation of government," Chief Election Commissioner SY Quraishi said while terming as "shameful" the low turnout of urban voters in the country.

Voicing serious concern over apathy of urban and youths towards exercising their right to franchise, the CEC said the issue needs to be addressed urgently. "Youth and urban voters don't turn out for casting their votes...but if you (voter) don't vote you have no business to crib on formation of government," Quraishi told reporters after meeting with different political parties of Punjab here.

He said that it "was embarrassing and shameful that urban voters don't turn up for voting in large numbers." He said that the EC would start a campaign for ethical voting during elections. He urged voters to file complaints with the commission if they are bribed by any political party to cast vote in its favour.

Expressing concern over paid news, he said that the commission had set up district and state level monitoring committees to keep a watch on them and if it finds such a case notice is served to the candidate.

A study has claimed that protein-based sports drinks do not improve or give any benefit to athletic performance. University of Bath researchers who reviewed the effects of the drink and supplements found that they offered no more benefits than protein found in a balanced diet. Lead researcher Dr James Betts said claimed that the drinks helped performance could not be stood up. "While many carbohydrate drinks are often appropriate for individuals keen to enhance their performance, claims that protein can be of similar benefit are simply not supported by firm scientific evidence," the Daily Mail quoted him as saying.

Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today lauded the innumerable sacrifices made by the Punjabis in the freedom struggle, despite the fact they constituted a mere 2.5 per cent of the country’s population.

Addressing a gathering on the 72nd Martyrdom Day of Shaheed Udham Singh at a state-level function at the local grain market, Badal said the state had played a unique role in the freedom movement.

“The sacrifice of Shaheed Udham Singh, who avenged the Jallianwala massacre by killing Sir Michael O’dwyer (the then Lieutenant Governor of Punjab who had ordered the massacre), will always be remembered in the annals of history,” he said.

“The rich legacy of unprecedented sacrifices by the martyrs will act as a lighthouse to guide the destiny of our future generations,” the Chief Minister said. He said the aspirations of these martyrs had not been realised even after 65 years of Independence with a majority of people bereft of basic amenities.

The Chief Minister said it was a matter of pride that heroes of the national movement like Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev, Lala Lajpat Rai and Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha were all Punjabis. “The valiant Punjabis have inherited the spirit of self-sacrifice and patriotism from Guru Nanak Dev ji, Sri Guru Arjan Dev ji, Sri Guru Teg Bahadar ji and Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji, who waged a relentless battle against the terror unleashed by the Mughal emperors to safeguard human rights and protect the innocent and hapless from their tyranny,” Badal said.

n The SGPC manages most gurdwaras in Punjab, Haryana, HP and Chandigarh

n With an annual budget of Rs 580 crore, its main tasks are maintenance of gurdwaras, running educational institutions and propagating religion

n For the SGPC poll, there are 120 constituencies; 110 in Punjab, eight in Haryana and one each in HP and Chandigarh

n 50 are double-member constituencies, reserved either for women or SC candidates

n In the existing SGPC House, there are 30 women members from double-member seats and three from single-member seats (33 in all)

n The double-member constituency system was first implemented in 1996

n The SGPC elections were first conducted on June 18, 1926, after the Sikh Gurdwara Act, 1925, came into effect

n The House comprises 170 members, of which 100 come from 50 double-member constituencies

n There are 15 nominated members as well. Six slots are for five high priests and the head granthi of the Golden Temple, taking the total number of members to 191

Indian couple challenges UK immigration law

An Indian couple has sought a judicial review of Britain immigration rule requiring immigrants to be able to speak English before they can move to Britain to join their spouse, saying the rule is a breach of human rights, a High court has heard.

Rashida Chapti (54) - a British citizen - wants the law scrapped so that her 57-year-old husband Vali, an Indian national who cannot speak English, can join her. The couple is married for 37 years and has six children. Chapti has reportedly been travelling between India and England for 15 years and has now asked for her husband to join her.

Under immigration rules which came into force last November, he cannot do so due to an English language requirement, thought to be part of the government’s pledge to reduce net migration.

The Chaptis and two other couples have begun proceedings to contest the rule. Speaking from her home in Leicester, Chapti told the Daily Telegraph her husband was too old to learn English.

Abohar girl selected for advanced course in mountaineering

Neha, a student of BA (II) year of Gopi Chand Arya Mahila College here, has been selected for the advanced course in mountaineering as she scaled 16,000 feet during a camp held by the Manali-based AB Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports.

Principal Dr Neelam Arun Mittu informed that the college team led by Neha won in the hurdle race and tug-of-war competitions besides clinching the runners-up position in snow craft, ice craft and brush craft. She happens to be the only cadet selected for mountaineering by the Fifth Punjab Girls Battalion of the NCC. — OC

Nambardars to agitate across state -Honorarium Hike Hangs in Balance

Disappointment prevails among over 33,000 Nambardars of the state as the government has not enhanced their monthly honorarium to Rs 1,000 per month from Rs 5,00 per month in the light of their long standing demand so far.


General secretary of the Punjab Nambardara Union Mohinder Singh Jahangir today said Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal had recently promised them to raise their monthly honorarium from Rs 500 to Rs 1,000, but a notification in this regard had not been issued so far for the reasons best known to the CM and the bureaucracy.

Jahangir said in the light of non-issuance of the notification, the state body of the union had been compelled to chalk out a state-level agitation programme for getting the notification issued soon. He said as per the agitation programme, district-level rallies and demonstrations through out the state would be held from August 5 to September 9 (see table).
He said after the rally and demonstration, the union would hand over a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner in every district to forward the same to the CM.

At last, Fazilka gets dist HQ status

After the residents of the border town received the news of Fazilka being declared a new district of Punjab, they celebrated the event like a feast. The residents thronged the historic Clock Tower where the months-long agitation was started last year.

Sustained struggle of the people for over two decades and support by Fazilka MLA and Cabinet minister Surjit Kumar Jyani, who had declared to get district headquarters status for Fazilka succeeded at last.

Jyani, who was overjoyed with the decision, said he has fulfilled his promise and duty towards the people of Fazilka, who had shown confidence in him. He thanked the CM Parkash Singh Badal for taking the appropriate decision.

Sanjha Morcha convener Sushil Gumber and member Raj Kishore Kalra, who had been leading the agitation for getting the district headquarter status, said it is a victory of the people of the area. 

Graduate Welfare Association general secretary Navdeep Asija said the century old historical town, which was one of the oldest sub-divisional headquarters of the state, got its due recognition at last. "The decision would boost the economy of the newly carved out border district and provide more employment avenues to the younger generation," he added.
